まず、建物が素晴らしかったです。昔の面影が見える建具、蔵の扉、天井の梁など、建築関係の仕事をしている父が当時の建築の良さ（特に梁のすばらしさと建物の強度）に感心し、私は昔の看板となる木製の装飾に魅了されました。また、階段部分の建具も素晴らしいと思いました。 さらには、歴史ある建物の美しさだけでなく、リノベーションされた設備もとてもよかった。お風呂は広く、キッチンも使いやすく、食器類も数がたくさんそろっていました。また、トイレ、洗面がそれぞれ２つあったので、混み合うこともなく泊まる人への配慮がされていると感じました。ベッドやエアコン、キッチンなどの近代的な設備も、建築とマッチするデザインのものが多く、センスのいい空間だと思いました。 今回の旅行の１番良かった場所は？という質問に、家族全員が宿、宿のお風呂、と言ったくらい良い思い出を作ることができたお宿でした。また、家族とゆっくりと時間を過ごすことができてもう１泊したいくらいでした。

良くない部分はなかったです。通りの車の音や蝉の声、２階の床の音は確かに少し聞こえましたが、家族全員が気になったわけではなく、私自身は気にならずぐっすりと眠ることができました。 強いていうなら、寝室のベッドの頭部分にコンセントがあるのですが、コードが壁のコンセントまで届かず使用できないようになっていました。事前に口コミで知り延長コードを持っていっていたので、延長コードを使いコンセントを使えるようにし、ベッドで充電を可能にしましたが、このベッドの頭にあるコンセントが使えるようにしてくれていたら、より便利なのにと思いました。

外観や雰囲気が良かった。撮影のセットで使えるレベルで驚いた。

電源が遠くて使いにくい。特にベッドに電源が付属しているが、ベッドとコンセントが距離が遠くて繋げないため、使えない。

Excellent conversion of traditional old shop-house into guest accommodation villa. Great bathroom and kitchen facilities. Bedding very comfortable.

Not a complaint, but some materials explaining the history of the house (and district) would be great. Lighting in the kitchen needs to be adjusted to illuminate the fridge and microwave. For foreigners, some English notes on how to operate the bath would be helpful. (Beautiful bathroom!)

We loved the spaciousness, and shared space to be together, and have space to be doing different things: cooking working resting. Location was easy to walk to restaurants and explore the area.

The steep stairs were hard for me, I have arthritic knees! but everyone else didn’t mind .

The house and all the amenities provided were excellent. The place was a perfect combination of a traditional Japanese house and modern needs. I would highly recommend staying here for a night or two.

Easy location not far from the castle and other sightseeing spots. It was very convenient to have a parking spot. The house is beautifully done, just bring warm socks if you are coming in winter, it is a old house and the floor is cold. The bathtub was wonderful and the bedroom upstairs beautiful. Our family loved it!
