The host was superb in her pre arrival communications, a few little nice touches of additional features included. She couldn't do enough for us even replacing an iron within half an hour of a phone call. It was great to have a complimentary Netflix which we could use our own login on. We had originally planned to be three adults which could have proved tricky as the second bedroom had bunk beds with the top one only child sized. I would also have scored facilities a 10 if there had been A/C. It didn't affect us as we didn't need it, so I'm not sure what summer temps are like, but could be a disadvantage?

Seemed like a long walk to town, however there is a bus stop immediately outside which we didn't use. Buses did seem fairly frequent though. Majority of Bilbao is on a hill so if your walking make sure the footwear is suitable.

Welcoming host who showered us with advice, guidance and kindness. Secure parking and location ideal for public transport to the city. The home was very comfortable and near parks and supermarkets. Touches such as a bowl of fruit on the table, pods for the coffee machine, a transport card and having Netflix made this a quality experience which we will remember.

Both the apartment and the host are sensational. The fact that the apartment has been lived in in the past by the host himself gives it a familiar air and you feel, somehow, at home. The apartment is spacious and can easily be lived in by 4 people. The common areas are large and comfortable. Your host will give you all the details you need for your stay in Bilbao, even a public transportation card. The parking space is located in a private parking lot in a building 2 minutes from the apartment. The bus stop is in front of the block and will take you to the city center or to a metro stop (bus 30)

Even if I wished I had nothing to criticize this apartment. I hope, in the future, to come back

There was everything in the apartment you need and a bit more in every aspect. Attention to all details and the feel of how the family lived there. Everything is of a very good quality. Clean and perfect apartment. The district is residential and therefore quiet. The parking is a few minutes walk time from the apartment. The hosts are nice and helpful. It was a pleasure to stay here

The building has very low soundproofing, I could hear not only how the neighbours talked but even how their mobile phones vibrated. Obviously, this is not something that the owners can change AND the neighbors and the district in general became more and more quite after 10pm, so it wasn’t a problem and doesn’t affect the resulting 10 score that I give to this nice place

Lovely apartment,well equipped and secure parking Bus stop just outside with easy access to centre of city( it is walkable to centre but uphill on way back) Host was very lovely and very helpful

Nothing to dislike 😊

The apartment was super clean when we arrived. Very comfortable and well located. Although it's not in the city center, in 10-15 minutes we easily reached the center and the city's tourist attractions. The owner of the house was always very willing to help/answer questions throughout our stay in Bilbao. We had lots of useful information about the city and the best plans for Bilbao when we arrived at the apartment.
