Rex Hotel - Bebeka's

The hotel matches it's claim of being 'home from home '. It is slightly quirky but very charming. The breakfast offering was outstanding.

The breakfast was the most amazing spread, nothing was spared even though we appeared to be the only guests. We also had a room upgrade which was at the side of the building which was very considerate as it was Saturday night so there was only minor street noise. Thanks to the staff who were very friendly and hospitable.

Fabulous breakfast and very stylish decor overall

Breakfast is good, staff is polite and seems to be trained not to say No to clients as much as possible. Rooms are spacious. Matresses are comfortable. A lot of nice objects of art and design. Cosy living rooms downstairs with the fireplace. Also theymade a free upgrade

Heating didn't work properly (for example in a bathroom). If we didn't get an upgrade we would have a one room for 4 people and it definetely would not be a good value for money. I had to ask for extra blankets as for something extraordinary although it is quite basic and ordinary ask. The location of the hotel is not lovely - i would not say that it is something special although it is not ugly at all either. Just not wow that you expect from a boutique property.
