Clare and Gene are wonderful hosts who make you feel so welcome as soon as you arrive. Breakfast (prepared daily by Clare) was always delightful and the B&B has a lovely home away from home feeling, not to mention all the animals! Will 100% be returning :)

Very welcoming family who could not do enough to make our stay one to remember. Good healthy breakfast.

Very welcoming and warm hosts, made us breakfast in the morning and the most amazing over night oats 😁 they're so animal friendly and they have their own rescues! The social areas were super cozy with candles everywhere and had everything you needed to chill out, from books to boardgames and radio! The bedroom was big and the bed was comfortable. The french soap on the wall was a unique feature that was very convenient. Loved every second of this stay, we will be definitely coming back!

A beautiful property that feels very homely and cozy. Great breakfast and delightful hosts. We loved our stay here and plan on returning to this gem of a B&B.

We did not bother with breakfast.

Lighting on the stairs - could not find the light switch so had to use the stairs in the dark, not safe! Essential oils used in bathroom as air freshener - far far too strong & bear in mind some people are allergic - essential oils can be hazardous when used incorrectly. No ordinary tea or milk pots in the room (pretty well all hotels & b&b's now provide that), only coffee & speciality infusion tea.

Claire and Jean where very friendly and helpful. We felt like part of the family. The house is amazing, our room lovely and we spent the evening in front of the fire. We would definitely book again.

Claire and Gene were amazing ans so welcoming...Vegan breakie was àmple ...with lots of choice..amazingly beautiful house with gorgeous stained glass windows...good location for bars and restaurants.....loved all the animals ..doggies..birds... chickens and guinea pigs....ample on road or drive parking

No mention of vegan breakie on booking.com ...fine with us but not with my parents if we had brought them

Clare and Gene were very friendly, warm and welcoming. The staff were also friendly and helpful. As my wife and I are not either Vegetarian or Vegan we did not know what to expect and were very pleasantly surprised by the breakfasts that Clare produced which were very appetising. We were encouraged to help ourselves to the fruit bowl and the choices of bread laid out on the table in the dining room which were very tasty and available 24/7. I think the house can be described as a bit quirky and we would consider staying here again.

As we are traditional tea drinkers we like cow's milk in our tea and so bought some milk which we kept in the fridge that was provided in the dining room. I wouldn't call this a criticism, more of an inconvenience.
