Beach Breeze Cottage - 3 Bed

The location was great with everything you needed close by. Shops, places to eat, and the beach. Hosts were helpful and responsive until after check out communication to feed back issues to help next occupant.

No parking outside the property. Parking was in the next street so a bit awkward with heavy bags Crockery was dirty or greasy and cooking pans had food stuck to them from previous occupant. So clearly not checked by the cleaning team. Hot tub cover was degrading, leaving black bits around the rim of the hot tub, which entered the water and floated around you whilst you tried to relax on opening up the cover. The cover was dirty, as were the steps to the hot tub. It was disappointing as there was an additional £100 to use the hot tub. Not even an apology from the hosts when this was reported on check out day. Very disappointing.

We arrived at the property after traveling hours to find the main lights were not working. After many calls to QFLiving and some lady on the phone of being no help to us, offering us another place to stay, which was not an option as we had a small dog. We finally got a call from the manager saying the electrician was on the way. He turned up at 8 o clock at night and managed the get the upstairs lighting working, and said he will discuss it with the owners and let us know. We had to use the lamps from upstairs for lighting downstairs which was simply not good enough. Trying to cook in the kitchen was impossible. So we ate out 2 of the 3 nights. We had a message to following morning to say the electrician wasn’t available on that day and would come the following day. Which is absolutely disgraceful to leave us like that after paying over £400 to stay at this property. Also the plug was not staying down in the bath so another man had to turn up on the second day and fix that aswell. What was supposed to be a relaxing holiday turned into a stressful one. The intrusion of people coming in and out of the property in what was suppose to be our holiday totally ruined it. With not even so much of a email or phone call from the owners, I would like some compensation after all our holiday was totally ruined. It was our 4th time returning to this property and will be our last. Which is such a shame as we have enjoyed going there over the years. Paying all this money to not even have any lighting in the house was horrendous.

Great amazing size property

the cottage was in a brilliant location, 5 minute walk to a wonderful restaurant called Branford's, fish an chips near by and Chinese next door. it was about 7-10 minute walk to the beach. There are shops further up and a large Lidl in walking distance and Tesco (a few minutes drive) away. also 2 miles from Great Yarmouth if you wanted an different day out nicely decorated through out and the bath was well awesome!!! the cottage is right next to a pub (which is currently closed) ok for us to be that close but others might find it noisy

would have preferred some cleaning products to use but with the wooden sides i can understand perhaps why they don't leave anything in case they get spoilt as a beautiful kitchen but i like to clean :) it is on the main road in and out of the town - but the windows are well insolated so we didn't notice

Nicely positioned for caister beach which is a fairly short walk and was fairly quiet when we went. Parking was always available around the corner and the pub is closed so no noise from there as that is next door. The property was spacious for us and the kitchen well kitted out. Two toilets was convenient and has a small outsie space. There were some minor improvements needed to decor, some re decorating would help. The first room inside the front door is very musty and the main lounge couch was also musty. The upstairs needs a grab rail on the landing and in the bathroom as getting in and out of the shower is difficult for 60 year olds. All minor issues that are easily improved on. I appreciated the welcoming emails but no so much the blunt ones about time of departure but I imagine the hosts have had previous issues.

Rented this cottage for my family, my boys and there family’s as we live near by, lovely place ! well equipped with pots and pans, plates and cutlery, tea and coffee they loved having the coffee machine, washing machine and dishwasher.

Was all good , just one side of oven wasn’t working so reported to owner’s so they can fix it for next guest’s

Amazing house, plenty of room for 6 adults, clean, spacious, easy to find, great location for the beach. Brilliant was an amazing fish & chip shop! People were really friendly.

Nothing to do with the accommodation but the pubs were a bit naff. No character or British seaside feel!

The property was spotless. It had everything you would need in the kitchen, also plenty of clean fresh towels for us all. Nothing looked old or warn out. Secure outdoor area. Short 5min walk to the beach. Plenty of takeaways or bakery on the doorstep which we used a couple of. Hosts checked in with us via email whilst we were there so felt if we needed help with anything they were approachable. We had access to all manuals which was nice to have should we of needed it.

There were 7 of us in our group & unfortunately there was not enough comfortable couches/chairs to use for a cozy night in. We had to use the dining room chairs & every 10mins we had to swap around to give each of us time on a comfy seat. Another 2 seater sofa would of been perfect. Or maybe don’t offer it out as an 8 guest accommodation because we struggled with 7 but I have to add this was only for comfortable seating, the rest of the house was perfect for us all.

This is a beautiful place to stay. The cottage is every bit as lovely as the photos. The shower is awesome too. The hosts have thought of everything you could need for an enjoyable stay, right down to little milk sachets in the fridge for that first cup of tea. Nikki and Steff are attentive and responsive hosts and I don't hesitate to recommend a stay in their care.
