Die Unterkunft entspricht absolut nicht der Darstellung auf den Bildern. Der Boden war sehr dreckig, die Türen haben teilweise richtig dunkle Schmutzflecken und die Handtücher hatten einen komischen Geruch. In dem Appartement hat jemand zuvor Feuer im Kamin gemacht, das gesamte Appartement hat sehr stark nach Rauch und Feuer gerochen. Doch am schlimmsten ist der extrem Laute Geräuschpegel in der Nacht durch die LKWs. Es ist, als würde man direkt neben der Straße liegen. Das Frühstück ist lediglich ein 150R Gutschein pro Person für das Restaurant, und das auch erst auf Nachfrage.

1. Prepayment in full was required in contradiction to Booking. Com advising no prepayment required.... On querying this the lady was quite rude and made us feel small. 2. No one was there to greet us or show where the room was. A man tending the garbage pointed out the room. 3. Breakfast was included in the price but no information was initially forthcoming of where the breakfast was served.... We eventually found it was in a restaurant a block away with a very limited choice as only R150 was allowed... A cup of coffee took a third of that. We were supposed to have vouchers but these were not issued. 4. The room doors were filthy., photographs were taken which showed this. 5. The fireplace did not operate very well and filled the room with smoke. The rest of the weekend all our clothing and belongings smelled of smoke. 6. The milk that was in the fridge was old and almost empty 7. My wife was squeamish about using the towels, they smelled stale and not very fresh. 8. The room was only reachable by a back entrance next to the garbage bins...and situated directly above a kitchen. Not the lofts advertised on the website. 9. Due to the poor draw of the fireplace, the fire place was not used the second night so the area was icy cold. 10 will definitely not recommend the Lofts Ivy3 to anyone.

The host was very considerate for calling us to make sure we made our way safely. The treats set up for your first day were most welcome and truly made us feel special and welcome. The house has new appliances and everything was clean and in its place. I love nice smelling areas and the bathroom was outstanding in this regards ☺️☺️

Wooden floors and noise from downstairs restaurant

Location was excellent. Clean. big fridge. Lots of blankets and duvet. Lots of little extra touches.

Steep stairs to access property. Fire place was a nice touch but the wood didn't burn only smouldered. I think the flue needs seeing to.
