Skye Sands - Alexandra Penthouse No 11

The location was great for walking into town for restaurants shops and bars all within easy walking distance. There was good accommodation all bedrooms had a bathroom and toilet so no queues for the bathroom.

The location was right on the main road and there was no parking or even drop off point. You then had a flight of stairs to the first floor to carry luggage and provisions. A tip , we parked in the neighbouring flats car park and left one person at the car whilst others transported the luggage. There is a parking in a pay and display 200 yards away £4.00 per day 9 to 5pm, then free. We were disappointed with the check in and check out times being 16.00 check in and 10.00 check out. You can pay extra for the privilege of arriving early or checking out late. I think personally this is taking advantage of the customer.

Location was fantastic and it was a short walk to all the St Andrews attractions including the Old Course. Kitchen & laundry facilities were great & bedrooms comfortable. Free street parking close by also didn't seem to be an issue.

Stairs up to the accommodation could be a bit of a challenge for some. Also loading & unloading cars on a busy street a bit tricky but not impossible.

We couldn’t find the golf channel on the tv.

The spacious kitchen and living area. We loved the fact that each of the 4 bedrooms could have their own bathroom. That made this property perfect for traveling with other couples

Be aware that there are winding stairs that lead to the first and second levels from the ground floor entrance

Location was in walking distance to the golf courses. There is no parking which can be a problem when you have a lot of luggage but we found some nearby so it worked out ok. Other than that loved everything about it.

The second flight of stairs is quite narrow, and could use to have the carpeting widened. It would be a little safer.
