It was a nice house clean spacious and comfortable. It was in a pleasant quiet location. Everything we needed was provided in the house. Meals were not included with the accommodation but there was a nice kitchen with microwave, toaster and cooker, everything necessary for cooking. overall the house was of a very good standard.

I had two main problems with the accommodation. The first was gaining entry into the house. When I used the key the door did not open. I spent about 10 minutes trying to open the door before it opened. I contacted the landlord by text and he advised me that the lock was absolutely fine and that all I had to do was pull the door a little as I turned the key. While I practiced the technique on a number of occasions I eventually became more adept at getting the door to open. However each time we came back to the house I had to try 5 to 6 times to get it opened. I was really unhappy about this and each time I went out I was fearful that I may not get back into the house. I really feel that this lock needs changing. My second problem was the television. When I turned on the TV I couldn't find any channels on it. When I contacted the landlord by text, he told me there wasn't any channels on it, but that I could watch U tube on it. I was unhappy about this as I couldn't watch the normal TV listings on it and I certainly wasn't able to watch the FA cup final which I wanted to see.

Comfortable room and quiet location

Strange smell down in the kitchen and hallway. Couldn’t get the heating to work at all.
