The family was very welcoming, warm people and we had home cooking, their own wine and a very enjoyable chat with them. It was a real experience with real people.

It was impossible to find the house. Google maps couldn't pinpoint it. We had to call from Ponte Arnelas and they collected us. We left something behind and got a taxi from Vilanova de Arousa to pick it up. The taxi company had no idea where it was.

The tranquility of the location and the warm welcome of the hosts. Cleanliness of the room and bathroom, and general comfort. We were allowed to use the kitchen facilities belonging to another room prior to the guests arriving and the hosts were very obliging in transferring our food to their own fridge after the other guests arrived.

The wifi signal wasn't very strong. A second bedside table would be welcome in a double room. It was strange not to be able to lock the room door from the outside, we only had a key to the front door of the house. The room didn't have a TV, although we didn't need one.

During our recent walk along the Camino with my 2 sons, I had the pleasure of staying one night at Casa Tía María near Villanueva de Arosa. I can confidently say that it was an exceptional experience from start to finish.The accommodation was simply outstanding. The rooms were beautifully designed, clean, and comfortable. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, ensuring a restful and enjoyable stay. The hosts' attention to detail was remarkable, and their commitment to providing a top-notch experience was evident in every aspect of the property. Speaking of the hosts, they were absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, they greeted us with warmth and hospitality, and went further by providing 3 hungry hikers with home grown food and wine. They were friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Overall, our stay was truly exceptional. You will not be disappointed. Gracious María.
