The Mama's Resort & Camp

The property is beautiful and looks exactly like the pictures. It was well maintained and offered great amenities such as a swimming pool, fountains, and more. The dinner and breakfast included in the package were delicious and of good quality. The cultural programs were entertaining, and we also took part in the experiences offered by the property, which were truly worth the money and made our stay very memorable.

The staff at the property were very rude, and the wait staff were arrogant and did not treat guests with respect. Dinner service was delayed, and no information was provided to us; we were kept waiting in an empty restaurant until the matter was escalated. Additionally, the owners did not allow drivers to use the toilets on the property, stating that the facilities were only for guests and not for drivers.

Had a wonderful stay at Mama Resort, Jaisalmer. Service was outstanding & the food was amazing , We loved the warm welcome & cultural dance & music , The night safari & camel ride were truly amazing, Staff at Mama Resort are some of the sweetest people we’ve met. Always going extra mile with a smile. Their warmth made the place feel like home. Thank you for such amazing experience.

I never did Desert experience before there for I was more excited and happy to stay in These Tents . The staff went out of there way to make our stay truly memorable one , from camel ride , Night jeep Safari , food , Accommodation everything was superb. We had a lovely fun time here and would Recommend it to anyone.

The staffs, they were very helpful and tried to make everything passable in a resort which is clearly in it's decline.

It was not a stay in the dessert with nature that we were looking for 1. We felt the bonfire smoke and loud music (I'm not talking about the Rajasthani folk music but just random dance music) violated the natural peace of the village. This isn't necessarily the issue only with Mama's resort but all such adjacent resorts are cumulatively responsible for this 2. Star gazing "experience" at night was a joke and just a money making venture. With all the light pollutions coming in from the resorts and cars it was barely better than what you can see from the resort itself, which again isn't much 3. The camel "safari" would have been much better if it would have been a longer safari rather than just a "packaged" hop in hop off 10mins ride. Again it appeared to be a quick fix to make money off tourists without any connection to the nature and the habitat 4. On our 2nd day there was a reservation for a huge group of people at the resort. This was something the management conveniently "forgot" to inform us. Also, it was clearly way more than the resort and the staff could handle, leading to unavailability of camel ride and overcrowded dinner space. I understand that the resort needs to make money but it came at the cost of experience of the guests
