Everything about the place, cleanliness, Hygiene. Its a totally 85% run down place & BOOKING.COM should not have them to be considered as it will tarnish your reputation.

I like that it was cooling and very comfortable plus convienient.

Lack of cleaning appliances such as dish soap, kitchen towel,mop and floor rag to clean when it is wet.

Cleanliness of the property, but cleaned shortly after lodge complain.

Location and Beach

The beach, location, and view at Bayou Beach Resort are genuinely beautiful, which honestly makes the rest of the experience even more disappointing. While the resort advertises itself as a 4-star property, the actual condition of the unit and the level of customer service we experienced were far below that standard. The unit had visible maintenance issues including peeling paint, mold, and poor bathroom conditions. One of the toilets was broken for over a day despite multiple complaints and promises that someone would come fix it. Maintenance responses were extremely slow and unorganized. The worst incident happened around 2 AM when our unit completely lost electricity until approximately 7 AM. Instead of management actively helping, I personally had to coordinate with security, management, customer service, and even the electric company to resolve the issue myself. Throughout the entire situation, nobody contacted us to apologize or provide updates. The following day, maintenance finally came to repair the toilet around 1 PM after previously arriving earlier without proper tools and then disappearing for several hours. Later that evening, one of our family members became trapped inside a bedroom because the doorknob malfunctioned and would not open. We contacted management for urgent help, but nobody arrived for over 30 minutes. I had to personally go downstairs to security for assistance. When the caretaker eventually arrived, he again came unprepared and without tools despite already being shown videos of the broken doorknob. The situation became so serious that security ultimately had to force the door open to free the person trapped inside. To make matters worse, when discussing the previous night’s power outage, the caretaker falsely claimed the entire block had lost electricity even though we had proof it was only our unit. During the door incident, the caretaker also appeared to be intoxicated, with bloodshot eyes and a strong smell of alcohol.

In pic resort is very nice.... But..... Go there very disapointed...... The homestay cleaning very 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻... Bedsheet all very dirty... Every place very dust...i see the others comments that's y i booking... Others say very clean... But i go there i know that cleaning,, 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

The room was comfortable and clean... Quiet old property 😀

The swimming pool looks a bit dirty
