No4 The Warwick Apartment

It was not the apartment as described. It was a terraced house on 4 levels close to the park but not in it, it was an entirely different post code which I did not receive until after I arrived. It was permit holder only parking and no permit was in the property, calling the number given it was not answered until a call back 2 hours later, at which the owner said there was a google pin with my information - there was not. I am 79 years old and although fairly agile, I had difficulty climbing the steep stairs with no handrail especially with bags and food. The kitchen was in the basement the dining facilities on the floor above and the bathroom was on the first floor meaning that I had no choice but to climb stairs. The apartment I originally booked was all on one level and overlooking the park with free car parking just outside. Although the house had everything and was very clean I am disappointed that the owners failed to contact me before travelling and tell me that the apartment I had booked was now unavailable.

Was really clean, great location, parking on site. Really spatious apartment.

Had to message to ask how to get in and didn't get a reply until 40mins after check in should have been. Otherwise all excellent!

Parking was available, the flat was clean and modern and all of the facilities was working well. The host was friendly and quickly replied to the messages. It was a good experience I would definitely use their services again in future.

Typically I would expect a few basics, such as tea/coffee/sugar and some basics in the bathroom (toilet roll /tissues etc). We did have hand soap and washing up liquid though. The TV free view stopped working after a day. Even using a login we couldn’t get it to work.

We did not stay in no. 4 but were accommodated in the cottage next door as the number of guests had increased. We visited no.4 and it was really nice We liked everything about our stay in the property.

Don't understand question - what did you think of the breakfast???= There was obviously NO Breakfast This Airbnb was really Great - very well furnished - good kitchen, lounge, and bathroom Very well laid out and good supply of what you need - glasses cutlery plates etc etc

Horrible communication of where to find the apartment / keys / code etc Made quite a few phone calls before arriving - no solution before we arrived. When we did arrived my son had found on Booking dot com - the entry code & confirmed the address as 4 Warwick Road. We went to TWO properties that were Number 4 and on Warwick Road - both NOT an Airbnb = ahhhh So we rang the number that we had been given & this time a very helpful man fully explained where NO 4 was & VERY Importantly told us a new Correct code as to how to get into the block of Flats = No 4 immediately inside - door open Keys inside. We at the beginning were due to be there at 1am fortunately we were able to get an earlier flight - imaging this horrible experience trying to find the apartment and how to get in at 1am in the morning????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We never saw or talked to the hosts, Their confirmation did not include a complete enough address to find the place until our taxi driver made a couple telephone calls, The keys were simply left inside the open apartment once we had tracked down the building, then correctly guessed the apartment . Otherwise the rooms were pleasant and the apartment's location was convenient to town.

The lack of any available way that was successful to contact the host for basic information. This is not a hotel like place. Once you make the reservation you are left to your own devices to deal with the property until you leave it. There is no written check out procedure, for example. We decided to leave it as we found it with the door open and the keys on the kitchen table.

It is clean and centrally located.

I can’t say anything about #4 because we didn’t actually stay there. It was double booked and so we were put in #11. Our unit overlooked the park. It was full of light and nicely outfitted. Easy to access and perfect for our needs.
