Everything was great

The elevator of the building.

They really helped me out with everything. Location is great, in between walking distances from the cathedral, musea, shopping streets and fortress. Easy to get to from the bus station. Airconditioning was very welkome on this hot day.

Overall it was expected quality for this price.

The room was at a very good location near the city center.

The state of the overall building was poor and it could be a deal breaker for some people. For the price I find it acceptable.

Central location. Comfy bed. Friendly man that met me to show me up to the apartment.

The lack of communication meant that I wasn't informed that I would have to pay in cash on arrival.. Also check-in is messy - you have to call/message the owner when you're on your way to let them know you are arriving so they can send someone to meet you, difficult if you don't have a Serbian sim card as most international roaming packages don't work there. Couldn't get the hob to work so wasn't able to make tea or coffee as there's no kettle in the flat. Scary lift, and it's on the 4th floor so you have no choice but to use it..Can hear the other guests upstairs, which makes it difficult to sleep. Taxis cannot reach the apartment.. 5-10 min walk to the closest taxi rank.

The location is spot on. Though in the heart of the city, it is a really quiet apartment.

A few things did not work - the elevator (the apartment is on the top floor - 4). The stove tops were off as well.
