Amazing place to stay. Rafael is the kindest and most hospitable host. This is a special spot to stay in Amantea!

Amantea is such a beautiful little city in Italy & I wish it got as much attention as other more hard-to-reach tourist destinations (aka, not having to deal with as many vespas not obeying traffic rules; sidewalks to use; etc.). Another great quality of the city is its lodging and Al Duomo B&B is one of those places. Firstly, I recommend reserving with them directly to avoid any issues with 3rd parties and also to be able to deal directly with them versus an outside company. Secondly, use the chat function as speaking with Francesca will bring a smile to your day whenever you speak with her. When she needed to follow up or if I had questions, she was not only available and replied readily but she was kind. Thirdly, she and her father are very sweet. Some of the sweetest humans in Amantea, I feel. They helped with our ridiculous amount of luggage to the room, & wouldn’t accept a tip! When it turned out that my mom could not walk all the stairs to the room, they worked on a solution with us that would benefit all parties. We will forever be grateful to them for their assistance, kindness, and understanding. Lastly, the partner place to get breakfast is very cute and tasty. Their pastries were to die for! If you want a beautiful stay in Amantea, this is where to do it! Just know that you will reach your 10,000 steps a day quota when staying here, but it won’t matter since you’ll be smiling from the great service they provide.

The breakfast was wonderful––loved the pistachio croissant.

The stairs were somewhat difficult for my parents to drag their bags up to get to the room, but we managed ok!

A truly beautiful B&B in a stunning location... The only issue had nothing to do with the B&B but rather the roads. Literally, every possible way to drive to the B&B was closed. Luckily, we are still (somewhat) able to climb the steep steps to get to it.

Everything! From the friendly, kind staff to the rooms to the amazing breakfasts provided by the Sicoli family. Authentic Italian hospitality.

I honestly have nothing negative to say. It exceeded our expectations.

Beautiful, spacious, clean & very modern room with fabulous views. Francesca was super helpful. Lovely space. Could also park close by.

The property was fantastic but Amantea was a bit of an odd place. Maybe because we visited on a Tuesday. Many of the restaurants/bars weren’t open.

This was perfect for our short one night stop over, staff very lovely and accomodating. Beautiful view.

The bed was a bit uncomfortable

This is the perfect B&B! Everything was spotless, the room had a beautiful town/sea view, and it is walking distance from Amantea’s old town filled with restaurants and shops. It is just down the street from one of the best gelato shops around! Francesca was super welcoming, and even drove us around on our first day to pick up some essentials and see the town. The location is very quiet at night, and we did not hear any noise overnight. I would HIGHLY recommend Al Duomo B&B to anybody visiting Amantea or the surrounding area. We will be back!!!

Beautiful old town location with stunning view. Historical landmark building perfectly restored, upgraded with modern conveniences while lovely preserving original details. Incredible view. Peaceful courtyard that we enjoyed every time we entered or exited the property. We were treated like royalty from the moment we made the booking. Picked up at the train station. The owner Raffaelle and his father were amazing hosts. We received breakfast coupons, recommendations for dining and sight seeing. A bonus ride to a lido to enjoy our time before departure. Im not exactly sure what the father told the lido staff but we were also treated like royalty there with the best spot on the beach and the best table for lunch. We were thrilled.

Would have loved to have coffee in the room. It's a bit of a walk along a beautiful pathway to get to the closest coffee bar/gelataria. We were there on a very hot day and the A/C could not keep up during the heat of the day. The owner brought us a fan right away. The combination of the fan and A/C made us perfectly comfortable.
