Nice place in good location

The advert is very misleading as it states it I'd a private apartment but the owner shares part of the property and just walks though your part to get to his other rooms ( which he did late at night appear at our bedroom door,said something about issues and shut the door on us) there are no locks on doors to keep your space private, not even on the bedroom, therefore it was more like a shared house which we never would have booked

Was not completely self contained Lost our all money and still no offer of compensation

- Location is excellent, stunning views and right next to the ferry (free on foot, £11 for a car). 15 minute drive into Fort William centre/supermarkets/train station - James is lovely, friendly and helpful with tips for the area - Comfy bed - Bedroom is a good size - Kitchen is fully equipped for cooking with plenty of space for storage - Use of bedroom, bathroom (shower), ensuite (bath) & kitchen - Great collection of memorabilia and photos on the walls - Plenty of space to park - Easy to find with James' instructions

- House is advertised as entire place to yourself which isn't true. It's a shared space in that James' bedroom is in the area where you stay (down the hallway from the guest room) so he has to enter via the guest kitchen. Although James is lovely and super quiet when he makes his way through the house to his room, it isn't something that we realised when booking and would have influenced our decision if we would have known. - Knowing the space is shared with the owner, it would have reduced our anxiety (two females travelling together) if a lock was on the guest bedroom door to the hallway. (This does not reflect on James in any way as he seems super friendly and did not encroach on our space, but more safety expectations whilst travelling) - No TV in the property - The decor is in need of an update, the house has a strong stale smoke smell to it (which is not great for asthmatics), but with the door to outside left open for a while this gets better

James was a great host. Even though we stayed for one night he was very attentive and gave us recommendations about places to visit or where to eat. The apartment was just like the pictures. Location was beautiful. The view from the room was incredible. Everything was clean. Kitchen well equipped. Would 100% stay there again.

Spacious, clean, beautiful view. Nice kitchen. Owner was friendly and helpful with tour/ restaurant/ grocery shopping ideas. Directions to his place perfect.

The only issue is hearing the ferry announcements. Other than that perfect, I would highly recommend

The view as it had lovely view and it was close to fort William

The stairs in to the property they were very steep and high step's as my wife has trouble getting up and down stairs as she uses a walking stick and the step were very high for someone that has trouble lifting her legs up that height

Location was nice, overlooking water with a slightly obstructed but still nice view. Walking distance to ferry which was a nice ride but really nothing to do on other side. Price was lower than any other in the area. James was very nice and responsive to any issue we had. Full kitchen available but shared by James if he is home at time of your stay. No freezer if thats needed. Two bathrooms available to you with one shower and one tub. Parking avail on property. Wifi works well.

This place has great potential but its def a work in progress. We greatly enjoyed our two nights here. Just want to inform what to expect. Grounds are very much in need of work. Front door needs a realignment so its difficult to open. You basically have a bedroom and two bathrooms. No other area to relax in. Like the house, the kitchen and bathrooms are clean but need an upgrade. Shower is very small and no shampoo or soaps provided. In the summer there is no air so just be aware. Heat is available in winter. No TV available if thats an issue.

Location It had a washing machine and dryer that all worked
