Very quaint apartment. We really appreciated the fans in the bedrooms as it was very hot during our stay.

The contact with the host was excellent. He responded very quickly and offered us the option of safe luggage storage before check-in, as we were arriving early. It was also a lovely surprise to find a bottle of wine and some cookies as a welcome gift in the apartment. The location couldn’t be better – right in the center of the old town, with lots of shops and restaurants nearby, and the port just around the corner for boat cruises.

There was no kettle to prepare the tea, but you can always use a pot to boil the water. It was an old building with old pipes, so sometimes there was an unpleasant smell coming from the pipes in the bathroom. Overall very good value for the price.

Check in was very easy Communication was good and friendly. The appartment is very clean and well equipped. It is very central. Beds were comfortable.

Check in time was 6.30 pm, it is very late in my opinion. The owner was kind to accept us at 4.30. Because it is central, it can be noisy when the windows are open.

Really nice, minimalist flat, perfect for 3 people (two bedrooms). Efficient and clear communication from super-friendly hosts. Great central location, very close to pedestrian zone and lake. Free car park not far away (at least we think it is free ;-)

Some mold in shower, could benefit from new grouting and silicone sealing

It was spacious and very clean.

I needed instructions to work the washer and the heat.

Fantastic location, very central and close to the restaurants and lake. Photo's did not do the apartment justice, it had everything you needed and was very spacious. Lovely balcony. Hosts were fantastic at communicating, and they even left a beautiful welcome gift. Superb value for money. We opted to stay in a hotel on our final night in Stresa but wished we had booked this for a second evening as it was better than the more expensive hotel that we opted for on our final night!

Could not comment. We liked everything.

Great location. Very clean. Easy access arrangements. Thoughtful treat on arrival. Lift access if required. Comfortable beds. Washing machine. Great selection of coffees and teas.

No plug for kitchen sink. Need another light layer of bedding for change in season. Would be useful to have washing machine product available as difficult to carry when travelling and can only buy in bulk.
