FRI liked that all the rooms were pretty spacious and everything was spotlessly clean. The view from the living room bay window is quite stunning and the leather chair there is a lovely place to sit and look out. The Freeview TV worked fine and was also a decent size, as are the two sofas. The apartment's location is quite near the shops and not so very far from the train station, beaches, other attractions. I was never cold there, despite some inclement weather during my 2-week stay. The washing machine also worked very well. The lockbox key/code was very simple and the host told me the code long before I arrived which was very helpful. The general area is pretty quiet (apart from seagulls) which was pleasant and the two local Coops are decent shops too.
On arrival, I wasn't too pleased to find 15 steep stairs to get into the apartment with heavy cases. The host left tea bags, coffee, sugar, but not even the little UHT pots, so I had to go to Coop immediately and back up 75 more steps from there. They left 1 toilet roll for 2 people for 2 weeks, and 1 tiny bar of soap. I've stayed in much cheaper places that have left a bottle of milk, maybe even biscuits,, bread, wine, tissues, shampoo, but the least I expected was UHT pots. The fusebox lid kept falling open. The fan in the bathroom made a terrible racket. The clothes horse was broken., Worst of all, the internet speed there is the slowest in Christendom (I got 9 Mbits on a good day) which meant that the wifi was virtually unusable for most intents and purposes apart from email. The neighbours were doing noisy DIY for 2 days. For all that, if some of these things were remedied, I wouldn't mind staying here again now that I'm aware of the stairs/steps/location.

USGreat views and wonderful setup
There was one small roll of toilet paper so we had to buy a package for the rest of our stay.

GBExceptional views, good location , quiet , spacious
Very steep inside stairs , dark landing , light located at top, 1 cheap toilet roll
GBFantastic views over the harbour, the balcony is an excellent addition to really enhance your experience and stay. Overall, a great base for our family of 4 and facilities on the whole very good. One to be aware of, lots of steps so need to be reasonably physically fit to explore.
Typically, you rarely can have everything, the obvious downside is no parking with the accommodation. Well worth downloading just park app to secure location well ahead of travelling. Steps are quite steep to access and carry luggage, need to be reasonably fit. Only other negative really is the shower, very poor to regulate heat, especially if you have children, either extremely hot or freezing cold. Overall - still very good and would recommend it but consider points raised.
GBGreat location amazing view from living room All day easy access to town and beach and train station or bus station

GBExcellent location. The apartment looked welcoming with interesting paintings/photos in every room, with a beautiful view of St Ives and the harbour from the front room.
The shower was a bit temperamental.
