Marylee's studio Old town Rethymno #1 Adults Only

Ideal location in a pretty street, mostly pedestrianised, within the old town, nestled below the walls of the fortress. 10 minute walk to beach. So many good restaurants in the immediate vicinity. Studio is very spacious with all the facilities needed for our 11 night stay. It was immaculately clean with soft white towels and crisp white bed linen changed every 2 days. There was ample storage for all our clothes etc. Kitchen and bathroom a little dated but all in good order. We mentioned to Marylee about an airer and within hours a brand new one appeared outside our door. Marylee was very welcoming and there was a supply of fresh fruit, water, juice, tea, coffee on arrival. The crowning glory is the magnificent terrace with far reaching views across the city and as far as the white mountains. It is south facing and does get very hot in June but there was always shade for our breakfasts first thing and afternoon tea/cakes. Would not hesitate to return, loved it.

Voor de tweede keer in dit prachtige appartement geweest. Fantastisch groot dakterras met veel privacy, lekkere douche, heerlijk bed. Voelde me zeer welkom, door de hartelijke gastvrouw Marylee en de gevulde koelkast (water, fruit etc) En dan nog de locatie, aan een sfeervol straatje in de oude stad, direct achter het fort. En de wandelingen naar het strand (veel keuze!) was goed te doen.

I arrived around noon, they stored my luggage and had my room ready two hrs early. Very helpful host. Gorgeous south facing balcony above all other balconies (no one overlooks you), great for sunbathing! Spacious room, good lighting, water/snacks in room, and lots of seating. In quaint old town, next to fortress ruins.

I would change shower tap as it protrudes into an already small shower space, shower wets bathroom, polyester bedding (natural is best)

Beautiful sunny terrasse! Marylee and her colleague from the book shop are absolutely lovely!

Hele fijne accommodatie met veel privacy. Werd prima schoongemaakt. Gevulde fruitschaal als welkom. Heerlijk bed, prachtig groot dakterras. De accommodatie is rustig gelegen, middenin de oude stad, op loopafstand van het busstation. Bussen vertrekken daar vandaan naar veel bestemmingen. Het strand is zeer langgerekt; zelf liep ik graag meer dan 3 kilometer naar mijn favoriete plekje. Keus genoeg, op veel plekken maak je gratis gebruik van de ligbedden als je er iets te drinken of eten bestelt. De zee was in oktober heerlijk op temperatuur. Als ik weer naar Rethymno ga kies ik zonder twijfel weer voor Marylee!

Super Lage direkt in der Altstadt und unterhalb der Festung, bequeme Betten und tolle Dachterasse. Zur Begrüßung gab es frisches Obst, Saft und Wasser. Marylee war sehr freundlich und hat uns sehr geholfen, das Apartment zu finden, obwohl wir später als 20 Uhr angekommen sind :) Danke dafür nochmal!

Das Bad ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber bei dem günstigen Preis absolut okay.
