The quietness of the location and the comfort of the chalet

Unfortunately previous occupants failed to properly wash the crocks and cutlery. There was lipstick on two cups, plates with some stickiness on them, cutlery dirty. We washed the items we used and kept them out for our use, we did not wash everything. The tin opener needs to be replaced as it would not work properly.

The place we stayed had everything we needed.

It was clean enough but needed a little dusting and bugs cleaned off the ceiling. Not having WIFI was frustrating as trying to plan what to do without it was difficult.

The location was good

The staff at the reception was very rude and had no manners when serving. Only the staff in the restaurant was actually nice to us. We had to approach them multiple times to serve us whilst they were standing there with nothing to do. Not at all happy with the customer service at the reception. The network in the location is very bad, I paid for access to wifi and still couldn’t use it because of how bad it was. We had to step out of the property in order to get some network and this was very inconvenient.The price doesn’t justify all these issues with the accommodation.

Location central for visiting sites in mid Cornwall. Buildings solid so no noise from neighbours. Close to nature among the trees with squirrels and birds happily roaming. The bed was comfortable, and the bedding was very clean and tidy. Also heating available if required. Excellent value for money.

The dining table was very sticky, and the kitchen floor could have done with a good mop over. The exit going out from the site is on a fast road with a blind side, which could be dangerous. I would suggest that a road mirror is positioned opposite the exit.

Cleanliness Not enough utensils I had to wash all plates, cups and pots as all were dirty with food and grease No wiFi which ment no phone calls or internet access for the week. No streaming on the the tv Tv signal bad Clothes horse broken

The property is located in a very quiet corner of a very well maintained holiday village with ample parking close by. Site facilities were very good including a restaurant, bar, small shop, launderette and swimming pool. The property was well equipped, all bedding and towels were fresh and clean.

It seemed a little tacky round the edges but no more than you might expect towards the end of the season. Some areas could be a little cleaner, especially the oven, kitchen floor and dining table (all were very sticky to the touch). There were a few ornaments off the walls which had been placed on top of, or inside, cupboards. One small safety issue was that the fire blanket in the kitchen had been placed almost out of reach on top of one of the kitchen cupboards due to the fact that its storage box on the wall was broken.

When we arrived we were unsure where to go so, we went to reception and spoke to a lady in reception, who unfortunately was extremely rude. She was the only member of staff we saw ! Cushion covers on the sofa were dirty

I paid only 450 for 5nights so for this money i wouldn't expect anything better I think. House is very tiny and not to clean. It was only 2 rolls of toilet paper and no bin bags. Beddings was clean and fresh. It's very strong smell of mould in house. Missing a lot of cutlery. Toilet was clean. But on front of the house was few cigarettes buts.. And rubbish. Beds are small but comfy. Communication with owners is great.
