It's a shop (coffee shop) which using part of the above area of the shop to renovate as a compartment. The space of the compartment is very limited for those bringing luggage. When I reached this 246house cafe, i felt very confused as it's a traditional coffee shop. So if you can accept this kind of environment, it's a good choice as it's cheaper.

Location was good and quiet. But not near any public transport. No frills room, fairly clean. Met my basic needs of aircon and water heater and private bathroom

The ventilation could be better. the room smells a bit weird, but not stinky. Maybe if they kept the windows or doors open when there are no guests, then it would help a little to reduce the weird smell.

There really wasn’t a lot to like, it did the job, but it was far from memorable

Unfortunately it was so noisy most of the time, luckily it wasn’t too late into the nights but a few times I had to go and knock on other people’s doors at midnight to tell them to be quiet. The walls are PAPER thin. Was promised water and toiletries to be left outside the room but they never arrived. Apparently downstairs was a cafe/restaurant but it was never open so I just ate in town. It’s quite a walk into the centre, that’s my fault for not checking properly but it’s at least 30 minute walk so just be aware

Lovely location, many food options right outside your door and 1 minute walk to 24h mynews in a nice and chill area, friendly caretaker, clean room, good water pressure with hot water, comfortable bed, great aircon.

Not a huge issue but mosquitoes in the room. Expect 4-5 a day
