Amazing hosts who picked us up from the train station, dropped us off again when we left (even though there were 7 of us with lots of luggage). Honestly, they went above and beyond to make sure we had the best stay possible. Nothing was too much trouble. Handy to have a 7/11 just across the road, too.

房东非常友善，和我们相见如故。房屋的位置非常好，到 京都站，祇园，岚山和清水寺都非常方便。周边便利店和小饭馆比较多，特别是马路对面有一家 24 小时营业的 7-11。房间是典型的日式风格，布置和装饰非常注意细节。房间很干净。

The host was incredibly accommodating. They picked us up from the station and drove us to the accommodation, even sharing some interesting information about Kyoto along the way. Upon arrival, the host gave us helpful tips on places to visit in the city and provided a thorough tour of the accommodation, explaining how everything works. The accommodation itself was very well-equipped, with convenient amenities like a quality coffee machine and a washer-dryer combo. You really have everything you need to travel light and still take care of laundry on-site. Cleanliness was excellent, no complaints at all. The space was also large enough to comfortably accommodate our group of six. The location is quite convenient, with several bus options and a train line to Arashiyama just a 5–10 minute walk away. There’s also a relatively large 7-Eleven right in front of the accommodation, which was super handy. The host was very responsive to any questions and even proactively offered to refill towels and coffee supplies. Overall, I had a great time in Kyoto. To top it off, the host kindly offered to drop us off at the station when we were leaving. Highly recommended!

There are just a couple of small areas where I think the experience could be improved even further: Luggage Storage. While the closets are currently used to store supplies, it might be helpful if one could be partially allocated for guests to store their suitcases. Even splitting one closet in half, one side for supplies, the other for guest us, would be a great solution and make the space feel even more organized. Roadside Noise. The accommodation is located next to a road, so you might hear some passing traffic. I’m a fairly easy sleeper, so it didn’t bother me much, but a bit of extra soundproofing on the road-facing side could make it even more comfortable, especially for light sleepers. Overall, these are very minor points in what was otherwise a fantastic stay. If these small things were addressed, it would easily be a perfect 10!
