Great apartment once inside. Huge bed, clean.

The hallways in the building were awful, untidy, junk thrown here and there and a horrid smell everywhere. The lift didn’t work at all, so climbing 5 flights of stairs with heavy luggage was very difficult. It would have been great to have been informed at least.

The property was lovely, TV in lounge and bedroom and a small but nice kitchen with everything you’d expect at home. Lovely and clean, modern furnishings and a fantastic view of Birmingham city centre. Host Bradley was attentive and sent detailed information about check-in & checkout.

Nothing directly to do with host/property but would have given 5 and not 4 stars but for the following: Lift wasn’t working so it was a bit tiring to get up & down to 5th floor with luggage. Underground parking was good with a nice large space but it didn’t feel me with confidence leaving my car there when there was an abandoned vehicle with windows smashed in just a few metres away. Possessions in stairwell which looked like someone had been recently evicted should be moved.

The apartment was very nicely furnished with every possible gizmo to cove any need.

The car park was a bit grim and I never really figured out the best way in and out. The location was a bit of a hike into town(20 minutes), and the area, although up and coming, was full of building sites and derelict industrial buildings waiting for their turn.

Brad was amazing and with very short notice helped me fulfil a request to make my partners birthday special. He couldn’t have done more. The access instructions were easy to follow, location wise was easy, the view was awesome! The apartment itself was beautifully decorated, very clean and we felt at home. A perfect cheeky night away, at a really reasonable price. Thanks for having us!
