Amazing place and location

We recently stayed at this accommodation for six nights, drawn by its central location in a quaint, low-key village. Typically, we avoid booking places right in the heart of town to escape nightlife noise. However, we assumed that nightlife would be minimal here. Unfortunately, we couldn't have been more wrong. There’s noise from nearby restaurants and constant chatter of people until the early hours of the morning. Motorbikers frequently raced down the street during the night. Leaving the windows open was not an option due to the noise, so we had to rely on the air conditioning at all times. The photos of the accommodation suggest a separate bedroom upstairs, but it turned out to be a very low mezzanine with a narrow bed fit for only one person. We did not use it. The actual bed is in the living room, which meant we were also disturbed by the noise from the fridge. Generally speaking the appliances and facilities are a bit outdated and could benefit an upgrade. Despite being savvy travelers who meticulously read reviews before booking, not a single review mentioned the noise issues we encountered, which is really puzzling! There are major construction works taking place in June 2024 in front of the street so the view from the balcony facing the town is not great. But there’s another balcony facing the sea and a great terrace upstairs. The town is really nice and the host is helpful and readily available but we couldn’t rest at all. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere.

Everything was great

The apartment was centrally located - I couldn’t have asked for a better place to enjoy the town! It was big and bright and had all of the basic amenities I needed for my long weekend. I will definitely stay again when I come back next year!
