Studio 7 on Main

Issue with price from reservation and what they wanted to charge. Was able to resolve but caused check in to take a long time and I was expected to try and contact hotels.com. As i was attempting to contact, they conceded and billed the correct amount.

The Motel is being Renovated, the Front Lobby is all New and Improved. My room has always been Clean, and everything operational. The Pool and Hot Tub area are being Renovated at this Time. I try to always book this Location when in Fargo Area. I like the fact that it is easy to get to the Stores I want on 13th ave by Driving up Main Ave to the Appropriate Intersecting Street. This avoids all the Cluttered Traffic on 13th ave.

I never like reviewing places but if i can save someone from this I will. I pulled up to place and did a double take. Pictures were definitely from a long time ago. Next there was a man in parking lot jamming out waveing to me to join him! No thank u! After I built up courage to go in and many talks to myself later! I was approached but jamming outside man and he asked me about my shirt, what did it say on my chest? I told him and then he stated oh i didnt mean to offend you and your chest. I stood in entryway getting my butt sniffed by a dog of the owners, getting high from fumes of mary jane, conversation with chest man and pj jammies girl and 45 min later a person shows up. I wanted to RUN!! Needless to say cancellation time was up and i paid. The hallways were jammed pack and filfthy, my room had a hole in door and broken window and too much more to say. Owner stated people like to do their happy smokey smoke. I stood there in disbelief. Utter disbelief. I left so fast and did not turn back. Beware!

Helpful staff, fair value for the price.

Wall paper was falling off the walls, missing drawers on night stands, torn lamp shades. Only 1 outlet worked. They definitely need to up keep the place instead of just the entry.

There was an unknown substance in the light fixture over the sink. Dead bolt for lock was broke off. Holes in the carpet. Either full blast heat or ice cold. Holes in the carpet and blankets.

Toilet was dirty was told that house keeping was being done as I was already in the room. Used toilet paper. Yellowed pillow cases. Fan in bathroom as well as ac unit in room dusty. Reeked of marijuana.
