Very modern, comfortable and spacious apartment, with everything you will need for a longer stay, especially if you need to wash up your clothes or do some cooking here and there. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking essentials (oil, salt, pepper, napkins, coffee etc.) so it takes away the burden of buying/bringing all that beforehand. Our host gives very detailed check in information which we loved, and the communication with him was super easy for everything you might need additionally. The location itself was great - Galbiate is a small, quaint hilltop village a short ride from the nearby lakes and about 20 minutes from Como (probably more convenient if you’re traveling by/renting a car) and we loved the atmosphere. It is true the church is right next door and the bells can be loud but we didn’t find it at all too overpowering, in fact we thought it was charming :) There is one grocery shop nearby but it’s probably better to do your shopping in Lecco (8 mins away) since it has Aldi and more stocked grocery shop chains.

While the apartment itself is super modern and comfy, I felt that it was cleaned in a rush in between stays. The shower shelfs had a used razor and cotton pads, the shower itself had some spray marks on the walls that looked like soap/product marks. The electric kettle in the kitchen wasn’t cleaned for calc in a while; there were some dirty utensils stored in a utensil drawer and drippings by the sink and on the walls. I really loved our stay and it didn’t really take away from our experience, and everything else was visibly well maintaned. This is just a note for future stays :)

Very central apartment. It a very beautiful, well sized and modern apartment. It also had a fully equipped kitchen and even a washing machine. Could easily stay her for a while. The village provides several restaurants, bars and shops.

Unfortunately there is no public transport. Roads are often one-way so you might have to take quite long detours to get around. Parking is available nearby, for loading and unloading the car we parked right outside the house for a short time, which was no problem.

Fully equipped kitchen. Great TV. Comfy bed. Great internet.

Clear communication with the host, instructions for the entry and car parking. The apartment is in very good condition, there is all needed equipment. The location is also very good, 10 min by car from Lecco city.

Just minor things to mention. It would be nice to have night curtains in the living room. The neighbourhood of the church could wake you up with a bell sound in the morning :)

Everything was 10/10

Living along in a nice and relaxed Italian town. Everyday commodities, restaurants, gelateria and parking closeby. No other tourists. Good starting point for trips to the region. Very friendly people and especially host! Absolutely clean and tastefully furnished apartment!
