Early morning noise street cleaning.

Noisy street below & cold room

Location was the only good thing about the accomodation.

It was not cleaned before. Used towels on the bed, no fresh bedsheets, dirty bathroom, full trashcan. Really loud. There is a Nightclub around the corner, so people are screaming on the street the whole Night. The hair salon downstairs plays loud music so loud, that you wake up from it in the morning. It’s extremly small maybe 5 squaremeters. Not comfortable for 2 persons.

The location was very central to the main areas and sites of Galway.

The room was exceptionally small. The pictures do not indicate this. There was no TV, which was okay because I was out a lot, but should be standard in any property-even a small one on the wall.

The double room was small but comfortable for one person. It would be a squeeze for two. Very convenient to station and to the Latin Quarter.

The key lock was broken when I arrived, though the owner came quickly and let me in. There was very loud music from the adjoining room, I think because there is a stud wall. It started again in the morning. Perhaps the owner could request that people do not play loud music? The bedside lamp did not work - needed a new bulb. And there was a squashed dead insect on one wall.

The location is great and the owner respond to me really fast when I call him to find the entrance.

The place was really dirty (as you can see there was a big crushed fly on the wall and other disgusting thing such as several hairs in the bed) and we hear a lot the outside but as this is the cheaper room in Galway so it doesn't surprise me.

Shower tray and sink had hairs all over them. No signage for finding the apartment. None of the lock boxes for the apartments would lock, there was a key to another apartment in my lockbox which made me feel like someone else could have another key for my room. Can hear every sound from outside until partying stopped after 3am, then street cleaners at 4am. Also heard a woman from an apartment next door shout when a man came into her room which was terrifying, there was a misunderstanding about rooms or something along those lines and all was well, but it made me worried for the rest of the night regardless. Also I've no idea where the kitchenette was, it's not in the room as suggested and there were no signs in the hallway and I didn't want to start opening random doors. Only lamp in room didn't work. If there was a warning to expect really loud noise all night, the bathroom was clean, the lock boxes worked, there was more signage for location and facilities, then it would be a perfectly fine place for a night when comparing the price with other rooms in the city. However my stay was pretty awful. Hopefully they will fix these problems so travellers can feel more safe which is the priority.
