Jungle & Ocean View Condos, 2 Shared Pools & Rooftop

The condo apartment was attractive and clean with stone floors and counters, rain showers. There were balconies on both bedrooms and the living room where tables and chairs made for a nice break from inside. The stone floors would be enhanced by a rug in the living room for those of us who need to get down on the floor for some yoga or Pilates. Even if I had been able to bring a mat, the hardness of stone flooring discouraged any stretching, etc. Our timing in January meant the weather was quite windy and cool so we did not use the roof top, but it must be very enjoyable at other times of the year.

The communication with the condo management was excessive and confusing. There were far too many messages coming from them starting months ago, redundant messages demanding payment that confused me so that I ended up paying twice. The management denied this had happened so that I finally had to find Booking.com's Customer Service, supplying them with proof and eventually, after much time taken and stress experienced, my second payment was refunded. Many of the messages from the Condo management told me to use links all of which had been removed by Booking.com for our protection. The threat in several messages was that I would loose the booking. Booking.com and Jungle & Ocean View Condos need to clarify their relationship. It was also strange in that there were a number of names the condo management was going by. I have been a happy client of Booking.com for years and I have never had such confusion with any of my many reservations. Hotels of course are easy, but I have rented apartments with Booking.com also. As to the stay, be sure not to go without a car! Uber would not come to the area, very new and isolated. The taxi companies rang busy. The building is new with no neighboring shops where food can be purchased. The big kitchen was thus useless. The condo is located behind resorts which control the beach, not allowing you to walk through their properties toward the water. Luckily for us, this cleared up because we were there for a wedding at one of the hotels, but before those events began we felt trapped. There are only a couple of restaurants. Some establishments that seem close by on Maps, are actually unreachable due to the impassable jungle.

Firstly, they gave me the incorrect room, I paid for the apartment with upstairs. When I did arrive in the wrong Airbnb They gave dirt towels, it was not properly cleaned, there was no hot water, there were roof particles falling on me outside and the view was disgusting filled with trash outside. It was not a good experience staying there .
