Carolinian Resort

The hotel was very clean and the desk people were very nice and helpful!! I would definitely recommend the Carolinian!!

We really enjoyed spending the weekend at this place. It’s a beachfront hotel, close to everything. The room was clean, but we did find a dead cockroach in the hallway right in front of the elevator. We’ll definitely come back!

This hotel was underwhelming. My sister and I are on a road trip in the South and this was our “splurge” hotel. We spent more on this hotel than any of the others in TN, SC, and NC, and this was unfortunately the worst. Pros: it was right on the beach, which was a super convenient spot! The balcony overlooking the ocean was beautiful. The pools were clean and not too busy. The room had a fully equipped kitchenette, which was nice to have. Cons: parking was a little confusing - the lot is about a block away and the welcome email made it seem more confusing than it needed to be. The room and finishings in the hotel were very dated. The staff was helpful, but did not have that same level of customer service that we’ve seen from the other hotels on our trip. They were there to do their job, but did not go over and above. The breakfast was free at a restaurant across the street, but it was really bad and we did not take advantage of it after the second day. There was nothing horrible about this place, but nothing really stellar either. Like I said, I was underwhelmed and I expected something else. If I had gone in knowing what to expect, I would have probably had a higher opinion.

We enjoyed our stay very much! The room was very clean, the staff was extremely friendly, and the free breakfast was the cherry on top! Owen, thank you for your assistance when my son and I arrived. I’d also like to thank the service desk for telling us about Captain George’s.

Th e room was clean but needed new matress. Needed valet parking upon arrival.

We had the very best time here! Rooms were very clean! Pool was fantastic! . Staff was friendly and helpful. Floyd at the front desk was great! Funny and helpful! So close to beach! Parking was a bit of a pain but worth it. Would definitely stay here again!

very good for the most part , staff is friendly . Could use some updates. Like flooring instead of carpet and the pans could have been better but other than that . Everything else was fine.

My stay couldnt have went better.When I got there check in was quick efficient,clerk was very helpful explaining things such as where to go to get to room,where parking garage was.She covered everything thouroughly.Also the complimentary brakfast was a great touch at great restaraunt just down from location 1 block.I highly recommend

The tenant was very informative and kept us updated on any changes that may be happening with our room. The room was nice, clean, but we felt it wasn’t exactly as advertised was smaller than we expected. All in all we had a wonderful trip and no issues with our stay.
