It has been furnished to a very low standard, tiny uncomfortable settee and a cheap uncomfortable mattress on the double bed. The key safe for the property could have been closer and was not secured, it was just resting on a wall

The property was within walking distance of Birmingham CBD and Birmingham New Street Station. Brindley Place dining options are available along the nearby canal. Apartment was roomy enough. Good wifi.

It was stated that the keys could be collected from a nearby 24 hour facility. This facility was in fact inconveniently located at least a 15 minute walk from the apartment and further out of the CBD. This cost us additional cab fare with luggage.

The apartment is in a great location for accessing the city centre and was easy to find. The interior was very clean and exceeded our expectations in terms of it's size and standard-communication was generally friendly and prompt. We were fortunate to find street parking close by; we felt a little anxious as there was evidence of broken windscreens on the pavements but had no issues ourselves.

It felt strange to collect keys from a garage a couple of miles away but it went smoothly-we then struggled to get into the apartment building at first but only for a few minutes. If we could change anything, we'd have loved a fan (it was extremely hot when we visited) and perhaps brighter lighting in the living room and an additional chair.

It goes without saying this apartment was lovely. Gorgeously decorated, clean and even smelt like absolute roses when arriving.

We went to this place during a heatwave and suitcases and where did they put the key? A 15-20 minute walk away. As me and the mother were new to the area, we couldn't even find our way to this random Texaco garage on the outskirts of the city. We ended up getting an Uber there and back just to retrieve the key. Baring in mind it was 27 degree heat outside so there was no choice. The next day I couldn't bare doing the same journey again, especially as its costly, and so I message the host and they were "too busy with meetings", and then proceeded to give me their automated message of if you don't have the keys back to the garage by 11:30am, they'd charge me but "if the key placement was not to your liking, we can arrange other means." But obviously I wasn't going to risk being charged because of their "meetings". Had to get another Uber there and back then again. Genuinely can't believe the stupidity of this check-in service. However, like I say, it was a beaut place to stay so it depends what you want from your trip lol.

Parking not as advised and difficult. Key collection was a nightmare. Very poor communication. Took an hour with the added parking issues. Bed was the most uncomfortable ever!
