Căsuța - La Țanc

Friendly owner and staff. Beautiful surroundings. Clean houses. Very well maintained garden. Delicious restaurant. Spacious parking lot.

Nobody speaks English, but it was not a problem, because they are very friendly.

As well as staying here, I ate here in the evenings. The menu is concise, but given that there is an attached small fish farm, I chose the grilled trout - perfectly cooked, it was the freshest & tastiest I can ever recall having. It was so good I had the same meal the following day. The surrounding area is beautiful - both the Transalpina & the valley.

The wifi signal in the căsuța was weak, but this is a minor problem - it was good enough for general use, but too weak for reliable video calls or watching videos.

Ideal for short stays. They have their own restaurant and offers food using locally supplied ingredients.
