Apartment 46 Citygate York

Great apartment and so close to the city centre. A great base for exploring York and everything you needed in the apartment to cook and enjoy your time there. The roof terrace just off the living room area was amazing outside space and also a balcony too off one of the bedrooms . This was lovely to sit outside in the sun but still within the apartment area and not have to go downstairs and go outside.

We enjoyed everything but the one downside is there is No parking included in your stay despite there being a large car park in the basement of the apartments block which had around 30 parking spaces in it and I only ever counted 6 cars in there. We already knew parking was not included so it’s not a complaint as such, but I don’t know who all these parking spaces are for but it would have been nice if we had access to them as the car park for Citygate apartments was virtually empty but to park a car anywhere near the apartments for your stay is expensive or a long walk from anywhere free to park. You can park across the road at Costa Coffee/Travelodge but only 90 minutes so not a place you ca. leave your car for a weeks stay. This was the only downside of our stay but as I said we were told parking was not included before booking but with a near empty car park underneath the apartments it seemed a shame that we couldn’t take advantage of this and park here.

Very spacious, bright natural lights as big windows, big terrace, very clean, and radiators worked perfectly, clean showers and working showers and stocked kitchen. Felt like we were staying at a very luxurious apartment and IT WAS A VERY LUXURIOUS STAY!

Nothing

Nice location with only 10 minutes walk to the centre of York. Small supermarket just around the corner. Larger supermarket such as Waitrose and Morrisons also within walking distance. Easily accessible apartment with elevator. Clean and inviting. The landlord had put up a Christmas tree and left some Christmas goodies.

Hosts agents were very helpful and accommodating. The apartment was very comfortable, especially the large balcony really gave a lot of extra space.👍
