Aircon wasn't working

I liked the location, the beach front view, it was big enough for one person. Wish I stayed longer.

There were cockroaches in the kitchen and that was a turn off for me.

Honestly I liked everything about the apartment, most of all the sea view but the owners needs to get the pest control, there are small cockroaches in the kitchen drawers and counters and also in the bathroom.. that was the downside.

The host, Martin, was exceptionally accommodating in sorting out a few minor issues.

The, location, cleanliness and everything was good in the property. Lasty the sea view mmmh definitely will come back🫠❤️

The location and view from the balcony is beautiful and the building and surrounds are very safe, with tight security. The host was very helpful to arrange with security that we can leave our bags there before check-in time. Also the info provided by the host before check-in was detailed and informative.

The main issue was that the aircon was not working, even though the property description specifically state that there is an aircon. And Durban is very humid.. There were 2 fans at least, although one was very noisy to sleep with. Quite a bit of maintenance required in this property, bit mostly small things like loose towel rails, extractor fan not working and window in bedroom that can't close properly, causing disturbing noises when its windy. Can certainly do with a more comfortable couch as well. Will also help if there is at least coffee for the 1st morning, there was only tea available.

The view and location are superb As a solo female traveler, I have enjoyed how secure it feels around the area,to the beach and restaurants. The building is very safe and secure as well. I've loved both times I've been there 👌🏽

The provided towel size and a spring cleaning for the little bits and bobs,nothing major,which the host promised to look into. Still coming back again ❤️
