I didn't end up staying - upon arrival the hostel photos did not match the property, it may have looked like that once but it is now very tired and run down. I went into my room and it stank of cigarette smoke - like a nose burning level of smell. I contacted the team and they told me that someone must have smoked on the balcony and the window was left open. No further communication came back and it was strong enough that someone had definitely been smoking in that room specifically. I left and stayed at another hotel as the room was not hygienic to stay in and the photos did not match.

The rooms are comfortable and the bathroom was clean and close by.

Not the fault of the establishment: there are a few bars right across the road from the hostal. The noise was pretty bad and went on until 03.30am. Closing the windows and shutters did not help.
