GBThe hosts were lovely, quick to respond and friendly yet left you in privacy to get on with your own business. The room was evidently soundproofed. The mattress and power shower were perfect, and fresh milk appreciated. The nearby village is very pretty, with the ancient St Peter's Church, the wooden carvings in Swan Park, the delightful Swan pub which not only allows dogs but gave us a double size fish in my fish & chips, the Indian takeaway by the station and the masala chai at Costcutters recommended.
My dog was a bit scared by the fireworks 10-12 Nov. The fridge was a bit noisy so I tended to unplug it at night, but having a fridge, microwave, kettle and plates is great at this price.
