Location was great, spacious, clean, comfortable and well-equipped apartment and hosts communicated well.

It’s on a very main road but not really aware from inside the apartment. Communal stairway needs cleaning.

Although on the busy road, the view and location more than made up for any noise, the host provided ear plugs if required for night time. Every little extra was thought of, snacks in the kitchen, flannels in the bathroom, soap and shampoo in the shower, books to read.

nothing to complain about. there had been a violent storm a week or 2 before and the ceiling in the main reception room had water damage but the host advised us before we arrived and offered a late check out as compensation if we wanted it.

A gorgeous historical property, beautifully decorated with all the modern conveniences one could hope for, The verandah area is exceptional and a lovely place to sit and watch the world go by. Rain, the host, is very friendly, great at communicating and includes little creature comforts to make a stay extra special - fresh fruit juices in the fridge, snacks and biscuits, hot chocolate with a jar of marshmallows to sprinkle on top - not the exhaustive list but all appreciated. We spent three nights here and it could have been longer. Somewhere I would definitely love to come back to again.

Location was next to the trail to White Cliffs of Dover , this was great for hiking. The ferries and cruise terminals are bus are walkable.

We were ther for 4 nights, The SMELL!!!!! is over whelming from the sewer gas *** (this may need to be reported to the sanitaion dept.) They told us to keep the vent on all the time. Honestly!!! If we could have we would have left in the first 15 min. of being there we would have..... This was supposed to be a 4 star 9.5 place to stay! NOT!!! The road NOISE is extreme and is a reason to avoid this plce alone. Do not forget the steps about 35 spiral stair to get to the main level , if you have any issues carrying 50 lb luggage up a narrow spiral stair case Forget It! Almost fell and I in good shape. .The kitchen has some dishes and cooking pans, the issue here was the pans are old and unusable with crusted finish , knives where cheap and dull so even cutting bread was a mess. There are no direcctions on how to use any of the kitchen equipment so we winged it on how to unlock the stove and use the washer. There is no dryer so you need to use a cloths rack and set it up in the kitchen( WOW). The the bathroom is terrrible, the shower only works if you use the hand held the upper rain shower has a leaking pipe. If someone is going do it justice we have to be honest, I wish people would be real in giving reviews, We stayed in 9 diffrent places on a month long trip this was supposed to be our final stop to rest and catch up, the reviews are misleading and so is the 9.4 I normally don't give this much feed back but for the price and the expectaions of 9.4 with 4 stars were not even close. I was at the end of a great rip where we stayed in amazing places, this was not one of them.
