The unit is airy, light and well appointed over three levels (bottom floor entry only) with ample space to spread out and live comfortably. All rooms were set up for easy medium short/term living and the kitchen had all necessary appliances and utensils. The washing machine and dryer were very handy. The bedrooms were large and the beds comfortable. The unit is close to entertainment venues (pubs/restaurants - 50m) and an easy walk to the High Street, parks, air museum and docks. On street parking is mostly available outside the front door (also see 'dislikes')

There is no provided parking and this implied statement should be removed from the online advertising. There is general street parking which is pay per use in four hour periods and available at most times of day (beware Fri/Sat afternoons). Being close to the entertainment area, the front bedroom could do with additional sound protection although the area itself is generally on the quieter side. If you have old knees or balance issues, be aware of the stairs, as you will get a good work out. For some reason, messages sent to the proprietors via booking.com were not received until two weeks after sending so if booking via that website I'd recommend you call them direct. In this regard they were very responsive.

Fabulous, great layout, furnishings, very comfortable. Great local restaurants and cafes, very close to central shopping area and river side.

Very minor point, curtains let lot of light into front bedroom in the morning.

Flat was so nice, very stylishly decorated and well stocked! A lot of thought has gone into making the accommodation look really cool, and so much attention to detail. It was very spacious and the beds are very comfortable. The living room was really well designed and it felt luxurious. The host was so helpful leading up to our stay, and very response with quick replies and great communication about the local area and recommendations. The apartment was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The location was just superb just a 7 minute walk to Ocean Village! And with so many amazing places to eat. Easy to park and plenty of space! Easy to find the place. There were lots of little extras, coffee machine and Netflix was a nice touch. We had an incredible time away in Southampton, we will definitely return, thanks for having us. Highly recommend!
