Spacious Large Group House Near NEC and Airport

Great stay at SHMS. Communication with host was exceptional, very welcoming. Clean with all you need for a short break. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

No bulbs in lamps.

The location was good as it was close to the train station and shops. The room was a good size and clean.

I was in room 6 on the top floor, which is a long walk up and down stairs to the toilet/bathroom. It is not convenient for people with mobility issues. Staff communication is very poor as they do not respond to queries or concerns, and they don't pick up their calls. A very poor customer service

Room was nice except that there is a roof light directly above the bed with no curtain. Staff on site were great, kitchen was nice and felt clean.

So I arrived and my key was not in the lock box. Couldn't get through on the phone number given for about half an hour. Stay was fine mostly - until I got back from work one day and they had cleared my room and all my clothes were gone. I had an evening work event to get to so 20 minutes of them not picking up the phone was very painful (there was no one in, I think unfortunate timing). I did get everything back except a sock, with the offer that I could have a free late checkout which, I mean great. I think this was just really unlucky - the place felt nice to be in and the staff on site were notably good.
