Some strange rules about dogs being less than 15kg which was fine in the end but seems unnecessary and a bit stressful when promotes dog friendliness. Having to pay £100 security deposit and give ID also seems excessive.

The small yard at the rear of the property was not enclosed as the gate was missing. This was a pain when putting the dog out last thing at night.
GBEasy walk into Hebden Bridge. Property finished nicely - minimalist- modern , clean vibe. Nice large bathroom with both bath and separate shower cubicle. Kitchen with kitchen table for 4. On street parking was available.
Despite being finished v nicely , the property didn’t feel cosy - we visited in December and so that was important. The stairs are narrow and steep - there is a handrail but it isn’t suitable for anyone with mobility issues. This may sound picky but the kitchen equipment needs looking at - there is the bare minimum and some needs replacing. There was no tea towel and only 3 dishwasher tablets for a 4 night stay. I appreciate guests may eat out some of the time but then it seems incongruous to have a large fridge freezer.The house information needs updating eg said the property had a gas hob - it doesn’t. A folder with some local information would be helpful but not essential for us.

GBThe house was in an excellent location; it was very easy to walk into town. Easy to park the car nearby. Everywhere was absolutely spotless. Our bed was incredibly comfy. We really liked all the little touches e.g. blanket in the lounge, tea and coffee in the kitchen, body wash in the bathroom. The decor was gorgeous and we felt very at home. We had to contact the host due to flood warnings in the area and she was really friendly and helpful.
The house could maybe do with another chair or bigger sofa in the lounge as there wouldn't be enough space for more than 4 people to sit. A lock on the bathroom door.
