"Nice space close to Bath Centre"

7.0

Nice space underneath main residence, space was enough for what we required. Host came down and said hello to see if everything was okay and gave us some pointers for our stay in Bath

Something to cook with (microwave or small cooker), might have added to our options, but we were mostly out on Bath each day. I don't mind hills, but some of the other guests had a work out 😄

"Pleasant enough but really a place just to rest your head."

7.0

Location was great, clean and modern decor. Nice shower.

Admittedly we should have read the facility list more closely as limited kitchen facilities ie no way to heat food or even boil an egg, no tea towels. Toilet seat didn’t fit properly and slid from side to side when sat on! Very tight parking.

"Mixed review despite the comfy beds."

5.0

Beds were amazingly comfortable! It was bright and newly decorated throughout. Coffee and tea provided. Reasonable location but unsuitable for anyone with mobility problems, steps down and at top of a steep hill.

The description of kitchenette was misleading with no cooking facility except toaster. Equipment was poor. No big plates to eat from so even a takeaway was difficult. No bread knife ironically when the only thing you could cook was toast ! Superfluous things like a tin opener which was no use. Full bathroom bin not emptied after previous occupant. No real comfy chairs to sit on. Living room/ bedroom could be better re-arranged to divide the area in two.

"Beautiful place to stay"

10.0

The hosts were very friendly. The facilities were amazing. The beds with extra thick mattresses were so comfortable. Everything has been done to an exceptionally high standard. On arrival there was tea, coffee, milk and sugar all available. Breakfast cereal in the cupboards. All the small details like washing up liquid, high quality soaps, netflix and the soft towels. A lot of thought has gone into making it a lovely place to stay. Located within a 10 - 15 minute walk into the centre meant it was away somewhere quiet yet close enough to experience Bath. The rooms were large and bright with blackout blinds making it cosy in the evening. Would highly recommend and would definitely look at staying again.

Having to go home!

"A lovely place to stay, highly recommend it."

10.0

I stayed here with my family as my home was being redecorated and having new carpets. The place was perfect for a few days, clean and airy. Easy to access and off street parking, although I'm not sure you could fit a wide car in the parking place; we had a mini clubman and that was a squeeze. The beds were very comfortable, with plenty of pillows, a good duvet on each bed and a blanket as well. There was some clean linen if you wanted to change the sheets. The bathroom was compact but well appointed, the shower was great, plenty of pressure, hot and stable temperature. There were plenty of towels. The kitchen had a fridge, kettle & toaster but no microwave. There was plenty of cutlery and tableware and tea, coffee and sugar. In terms of living space, there were a couple of chairs and a coffee table in the double room and a dressing table and chair in the singles room. There was a hanging rail and a long mirror in the singles room and some drawers in the double room. There was a smart tv in the double room, but we didn't really use it. There were table and chairs outside, but it was wet while we were there so we didn't use the area. Overall, it was an excellent place to stay, walking distance to the city centre for those who are used to walking, but it is up a hill.

It would have been nice to either have the door mat inside the door or a floor mop as we tramped wet & dirty footprints every time we went inside. It was also a tad chilly due to the weather and we didn't see any sort of heater, but we didn't ask for one either.

"Superb"

9.0

Very clean, good location. Comfy beds! You could use the driveway as it's all resident parking in the area. Our Focus only just fitted between the gateposts though.

The outdoor dining terrace pictured now has a tall fence around, so there isn't a view of the garden that you may think you'll have. There are no wardrobes, just a single hanging rail in the twin room. Ok for us, but you might need more space. No coffee maker as pictured. Small things though.

"Beautifully bright & super convenient!"

8.0

Firstly, the owners where wonderful. Couldn’t have asked for better - Quick communication & happy to help! The properties location was fantastic, beautiful street, lovely neighbourhood, plus we were so close to Bath & having parking was so convenient! The apartment was so bright which was perfect for us as we love natural light & the shower was divine.

Not being able to control the heating wasn’t great as I felt rude contacting the owner late at night, however, the owners where lovely and it was sorted on the phone there and then! You could hear people moving upstairs which at some points was quite loud (going up and down the stairs) but it wasn’t enough to cause issues as we only stayed a couple of nights. We loved having a private entrance but if you are looking for privacy I’d bare in mind the windows directly look out onto the garden, which we thought was beautiful but if the owners upstairs do use the garden you will be overlooked. But the view! Just beautiful! Two things which the apartment could benefit from would be an iron & some shelves in the shower 😊
