The View - Jungle Lodges - Port Barton

I loved being out in the jungle. Fully immersed into nature. Breakfast was very good, facilities were just was was required. The owners were magical. White beach 10 to 15 minute walk away. Restaurant very local too

The road to get there. Especially after a 3 hour minivan ride with a nutter of a driver and then this very uneven road to get to the accomodation by tuk tuk that’s my only negative

The view in the morning was absolutely lovely & the hosts are just great! Breakfast was a real highlight for me on the trip, looking out across the jungle.

I was staying solo and unfortunately the weather was particularly bad, so it was a little isolated for me (not really in the hosts control though!). I also don't think I was aware of how bumpy/intense the journey to get to the accommodation was either, not to be underestimated!

The two owners are super friendly and attentive. The view is amazing and the accomodation is a perfect place to unwind There are two restaurants next door and the food is good so you don’t need to travel back into the main town A 15 minute walk to white beach where you can get a taxi boat to town or coconut beach if you don’t want to tuk tuk

This isn’t something the owners can change but bring bug spray. Staying in the jungle means there are a lot of mosquitos and unfortunately they really liked the taste of me. The accomodation provides mosquito nets :)

We had a truly wonderful stay! From the warm and welcoming hospitality of our hosts, Jimmy and Nico, to the unique charm of the place itself – everything exceeded our expectations. The road to the property is a bit rough, but it adds to the adventure and overall experience. While it’s not a luxury stay, everything is thoughtfully designed and created with love. The attention to detail really makes a difference. There are also two excellent restaurants nearby, recommended by our hosts. Our favorite was the one run by Thomas – an absolute must-visit. We would love to come back and can wholeheartedly recommend this special place to anyone looking for something authentic and full of character.

Nico and Jimmy are amazing hosts and two of the nicest guys you can meet. They were welcoming from check in to check out. The breakfast quality was 10/10. Beautiful fresh bread. Great coffee and Jimmy went out of his way to make breakfast very early for us when checking out. The views of the surrounding jungle and wider islands is straight out of paradise.

The only real thing we didn’t “like” was the journey along a very dirt road. Though of course this is no fault of the hosts or property. They went out of their way to ensure we had tuk tuk options.

Authentic jungle vibes, location and superb hospitality. Let the jungle tuktuk rattle you free and unwind in the lush green escape, with plenty of nearby beach and island views.

first stop on our palawan tour and I would say the best - incredible views into bay, cozy and very clean bamboo villas, tasty simple breakfast and very helpful owners. If you want to stay out of loud place but still close enough in case you want have more fun, choose this place as it is like from a fairy tale. Will recommend everywhere!! Best way to reach the accommodation is by boat taxi from port barton

Nico and Jimmy are super friendly hosts and really care about their guests. The view from the lodges is incredibly nice. Breakfast is really delicious. We enjoyed our stay very much!

The lokation. The staff. The breakfast. The rooms. The beach. Very safe.

The towels. And would have loved a bucket in the shower. Makes washing hair easier.
