The communication with Mike was exceptional. He was really quick to reply, was understanding and ensured everything we asked for was addressed immediately. The apartment had all needed utilities for cooking. The bed was comfortable and clean. Had a smart TV and fast internet access. The bathroom included many towels, different sizes and were clean. Also included basic shower necessities such as shampoo, body soap and conditioner. The place was secure, had a digital door lock with a pin that was changed for every guest and had a safe. The location was great, close to the Fishing Lodge entrance and the plaza where all the restaurants were. The guide was very helpful in understanding how to get to the apartment and use it.

The apartment had a couple issues worth mentioning. The biggest one was the black mold growing on the ceiling where the AC is. This is a health hazard. We reached out to Mike to fix this and he said they will address it after we leave. The second issue was the cleanliness of some areas of the apartment. The shower was given to us in abysmal condition. The walls of the shower were dirty and had stuff growing from the stone. It had black goo on the sides and floor, there was hair leftovers from previous guests on the top. The silicone layer that prevents the water from escaping the shower was peeling causing water to leak outside the shower in turn leading us to spend 15 minutes after every shower to dry the floor. The apartment walls were full of leftover mosquito kills. The dish sponge that was left for us was in very bad shape and reeked, we bought a new one. The toilet bowl cleaner was yellow, we requested and received a new one. The balcony door handle was broken, resulting in us not being able to open it or lock it. We requested someone come see it but it was not fixed. Looks like this is a recurring issue because the door handle had signs it was already tampered with in the past
