Beautiful Rehabbed Unit in Shaw Community - 4226b

We loved the location of the house. We appreciated the Shaw neighborhood history and beautiful homes. Space was great, our family of six each had their own big bed.

There were a few things that could be addressed, such as towel racks and a toilet paper holder in the bathroom. The tub was pretty slippery, which might be why there were no towel rack? The house had 6 queen beds all of them super squeaky.

The location was good.

Water damage to the property, patch drywall, water marks on the walls, cracked drywall, missing hardware, dirty linens, missing blinds/ no privacy, open outside walls where rodents/ bugs come come though, dirty sofa … It is a run down property. I asked the host if we can cut our stay short, they agreed and just stopped responding after they told us to check out for the second ( last night). That house is not in a livable condition.

Great location and in a good neighborhood

Just a couple small things. Bathroom ceiling wasn’t finished, towel rack in the bathroom kept falling off the wall, no bottom shelf in the fridge, and the front door didn’t have second lock. Nothing big just wanted to give some input.

The neighborhood was lovely and easy distance from all the places we wanted to go there were lots of nice little restaurants and bars in the neighborhood that we could easily walk to for dinner or ice cream. There was plenty of space for myself my husband are three children and my parents there are two separate living rooms so that was nice if my parents wanted to get away from the kids.

It was a bit barebones and the porch was slightly run down the house was last nice than most of the others in the neighborhood but the price was right

The front porch should have been an indication of the rest of the property, but I gave it a chance, then I walked inside 🤬😡🤬😡 the beds were not made up and broken so unable to sleep on it, chairs in the lounge room were dangerous, not dishwasher tablets to clean as per the request of the host. I tried to communicate with the host but only got a sorry I will speak to the cleaners. The issues are not just a cleaning issue but a whole property issue. See pictures to make your own mind up.

The entry code was given ahead of check in time.

The cleanliness was not very good. It seemed that the floor were not sweeped or vacuumed. There were like soil around. There were pair of old dirty socks under the drawer of one of the rooms. The washroom and the kitchen were clean though.

The stove handle was broke , parking was hard to get , was unaware about the sharing of the basement

Having to submit additional personal details including ID to access door code. I've already booked here, I shouldn't need to hand over my data to another party.
