USGood area
The property is in terrible condition. This isn’t acceptable for a rental charging $800/mo let alone an Airbnb charging $800/day. Using transition strips as door trim is diabolical, and the wallpaper was literally falling off the walls
USLocation is great for East End. Off street parking a great perk! Dining room provided area for adults to socialize after kids were in bed upstairs. Host was responsive to feedback and available to answer questions.
Old, dated home. Pictures do a good job of obscuring wear and tear. We called it “Pittsburgh charm”, but felt a lot like a rental with spackle and paint slapped up to mask much. Only AC were small window units. Old fridge without ice or water filter. Very pleasant host, but does not fully compensate for conditions.

USThere was no breakfast. There were also no coffee pods for the Keurig and no coffee mugs. When this was texted to the host, he delivered pods and cups. The living room, dining room and kitchen were very good with a nice flat screen over the fireplace. The host clear put in a lot of effort to make an older property functional. Everything was clean ,and there were plenty of towels, soap, paper towels etc. There was plenty of hot water. The driveway was very good but only one car wide, so two cars would be a problem and I had to back out each time, but this was not a big deal.
When we arrived at 11 pm, we kept putting in the wrong code at the front door lock. This was our fault as the host did give us this information and at first we had trouble locating it. We called and texted the host, who knew we would arriving late, and he did not respond. We eventually figured it out. The downstairs bathroom was very small and I couldn't get both hands under the sink faucet at the same time as the space for the sink was so tight. The upstairs bathroom was brought up to somewhere between the late sixties and early seventies decor. The toilet was tight up against the shower wall, likely to keep it away from the radiator in the wall. Somewhat more disappointing was the empty milk jug in the back yard, the empty Whole food bag along the side of the house and the empty plastic food container just in from the side walk. These were there the entire time giving the property a slight unkempt look. The ceiling in the living room, in the front corner had peeling paint and so did the back of the living room. The wall paper in the dining room was nice, but there were vertical gaps between the paper. The master bedroom closet as first seemed lock, but it was just stuck. There were hangers to use. There was a large, stellate crack in the bathroom sink in the upstairs bathroom and the curtain rod in the adjacent bedroom was falling out of the wall.
USGreta location for our event.
CAThe location was great, Pittsburgh is a very charming city and the houses in the neighborhood were beautiful, very old charming setting. I loved that we had laundry facilities and parking. Parking was a little tight but manageable, we have a big truck so always more careful about where we park. It was very private and safe.
The pictures were great and the property was arranged with nice furniture, however it is an old house and there are some things that were dated. The bathroom shower upstairs was small, the one on the main floor was bigger but the space for the sink and toilet was tight. The games room was a fun addition, but the kids were a little apprehensive about staying alone up there as it is an older home and gives a little bit of a home alone vibe. Also note there is NO wifi provided at this rental. They did have 1 tv with some apps but the wifi disconnected from the box and so we didn't have access. The host tried to help us and was very responsive to help us answer any questions or problems we had.
ESExcellent communication with the host, during and after the booking process.
Mainly the refrigerator, which was noisy, but the owner is getting it changed (should be swapped for a new one already).
USThe inside was very nice
There was no service & there wasn’t no WiFi
