The Pirate's Palace, Whitby - Elegant, Comfy, Fun

Beautifully decorated where traditional meets contemporary & so spacious. Best accomodation I've stayed in in the UK ever! Lovely walk into town from the property, great views through the sunny windows including the Abbey & St Marys. We struck gold with the weather it was scorchio most days.

Slept in 3 bedrooms avoiding sound of boiler next to larger bedroom at 6am & 4am bright sunlight shining through sides of blinds. To be fair I'm a light sleeper & have blackout curtains at home which's perfect.

Everything, location, comfort, cleanliness and spacious

Would prefer king size or single beds but this is just our preference.

great location - 10 min downhill into town. lovely warm and comfy property, liked the quirky decorations and VERY comfy beds. Great views.

Beware the walk back up steep hill, hard work with pushchair -but we knew this so not an issue really. Lots of stairs in property and those to top floor very steep!!! Well equipped with stair gate and cot for toddler but not ideal. Lucky to get an additional car parked on side street, used drive and blocked ourselves in -even this got a comment from the neighbour!

Access to the apartment from front and back Great for a large group, there were 8 of us in total It was very clean with lots of amenities provided The owner was very responsive We could see the abbey from the apartment when the weather was clear About a 10 minute walk to town so very convenient

Door key holder very difficult to close, ended up with a blood blister when I caught the palm of my hand in it It would have been good to be able to leave the property a bit later than 10 on the day of leaving Property situated on steep hill and path up to the doorway slippery when wet Parking is a free for all as someone was parked directly in front of the apartment all the time Both bathrooms on the same floor and Two of the bedrooms were up a narrow steep set of stairs with no bathroom up there

Accomodation outstanding .beautiful decor .home from home.would definitely stay again.

Loved absolutely everything, it was so homely and comfortable, attention to detail was impeccable.

We didn't book 2 weeks!!
