#05 - Lakefront Two Bedroom Cottage- Pet Friendly

The location

It was nicer in pictures that it actually was.

Lake front access.

Being next to the lake was awesome. Nice cozy place with great flooring. The host was awesome in offering to go out of their way to help with a small issue that was our fault.

The doors leave something to be desired. Bathroom door had a janky latch and front door was rough opening and closing. Not terrible, but not perfect either.

The quietness. The view.

Parking was tight to park truck and trailer

Loved the location but the outside lighting was not up to par. With the hills and curves of the parking area it was a little treacherous. I backed into the curve of hill because I didn’t see it, all I saw was darkness!! It was not marked with any type of reflection tape or lights. The owners need to invest in a lot better ways to light the outsides of the cabins. Especially if you have dogs or have any type of issue walking.

Our cabin was changed and that made a big difference. I would have preferred 2 bedrooms instead of the one. Was not conducive to sleeping well. Also cleanliness in the bathroom. The door knob fell out in the middle of the night and almost broke my foot, just bruised. Not happy. Toilet needs replaced. Very old and noisy. Ran out of toilet paper.
