Cotswolds Retreat - Bath & Castle Combe - Hot Tub

This is a fabulous large comfortable home, well equipped with everything you could want. We were racing at Castle Combe circuit for which the property is ideally located just a few minutes drive away. There are plenty of nice pubs close by for food. We found everything exceeded our expectations, the beds were super comfy, the showers were good, plenty of towels, toilet roll, soap etc provided, even a nespresso machine and pods which was a nice touch. We will definitely book again.

Nothing. We never got a chance.

The accommodation was cancelled on us while we were en route with 8 adults and a baby. It was paid in full and confirmed months ahead. There was no communication, no response or a reason for cancellation. Booking.com had to find new accommodation for us, which we had to pay in full. Before a refund was available. Never have I experienced such an abysmal attitude as I did from these people. There was no consideration , empathy, acknowledgement or apology. Do not book with them.

Disparity between information on booking.com when booked over a month in advance, with then different information relating to check in/out, deposits and pets. Owner difficult to get hold of and then impossible after when withholding £500 of deposit for “not telling them I was bringing a pet” when it was the first message I sent them months ago, and they acknowledged.

Everything! This property was brilliant for our family get together, the furnishings are top quality with super comfortable beds and luxurious bedding and towels - even supplied for the hot tub! The kitchen was well equipped, no shortage of crockery or utensils and even bacon and eggs in the fridge for our first morning. The host, Paul, was very engaging and respectful letting us know before hand that he was calling by to check the hot tubs levels. Such a relaxing stay - I would highly recommend this property.

Nothing. (Maybe a broom or Vacuum in the cupboard to help tidy up before we left - felt a bit guilty not brushing up before we left)

It was a very beautiful property for a big family ranging from kids to old. Everyone loved it in their own way. Location is perfect as it’s close to all famous attractions. Our mini holiday was ruined by the horrible weather but this beautiful property compensated for everything. Will love to go again for Christmas

It would be nice if few other rooms were ensuite. Also, finding the property entrance can be tricky.

Amazing self containing house, in a brilliant location.. Great facilities, including premium fittings all throughout the house, a large hot tub, and really well maintained rooms. Decor in every area of the house seems well planned, well placed. Check in itself was a smooth, simple process, and every feature, every facility was exactly as promised. Paul was also extremely helpful with tips on local travel to make the most of our time. Local pub as well as castle combe are stone throws and very convenient to drive to other important cotswolds attractions. DEFINITELY BOOKING AGAIN .. hopefully VERY SOON 😀

Really cannot fault much with this fantastic property. If I still have to mention something, it would more be a suggestion to add a hand shower in their common bath on the top floor, but that is literally a suggestion rather than a complaint.
