Location was easy to find

Shower pressure wasn’t great. Stains on single bed in twin room. Beds were not comfortable especially the double made up of 2 twins

Cosy cottage tucked out of the way off the main road. 20 minutes from Alton Towers, designated parking right outside, easy check in, all the facilities you have at home including a coffee maker and a washing machine. Great communication from the owners 10/10 recommend for families.

"Lovely place. Everything you need on doorstep. Definitely adds a little extra than a hotel does so I would recommend."

Beautiful property, has everything you need.

Heating system isn’t great, it was so cold when we got there and took a good few hours to heat up and after a wet and cold day in Alton Towers it made it a little difficult. Shower wouldn’t stay on hot so kind of gave up with that.

We had a great stay at Mount Yard which is a perfect base for a trip to Alton Towers (15 minute drive) or to explore this beautiful region of the UK. It was spacious, clean, well equipped and had a real home from home feel. Both bedrooms were great sizes and the beds were comfortable. We were only there for one night so we did not cook but the kitchen appeared to be very well equipped. There is a Co-Op, Fish & Chip Shop and Chinese Takeaway literally a few minutes walk away. Would not hesitate to stay again if we ever come back to the area.
