The Red Door 2-bedroom townhouse near VT & RU

It was a quiet pleasant stay. Communications with the manager were responsive and helpful in retrieving my jacket.

Could use maintenance on closet doors, needs paint on wall repair, kitchen table surface has pits and shower liner needs cleaning or replacement.

2 separate bedrooms Allowed me to check in at 3 pm Property stated it slept 6 people. Initially, I said 2 people but I later emailed them to state 5 people would be there. They said they wouldn’t charge me for “ extra people” although properly stated 6. Cost was $600/ night so rather confused on why it would be extra but they did not charge me per the email

No hand soap in bathrooms or any soap, no shampoo, 2 half used rolls of TP, floors very dirty and TV didn’t work! Later found firestick unplugged and underneath console. However, didn’t find until next day. Left 3 towels but had 5 people. Went to Kroger’s and bought soap, shampoo & conditioner, TP and a towel

Price. Kitchen was great, plenty of dishes. Bed was comfortable. Great location. Hosts were extremely nice. I mis-booked the date when the site changed the date as I was booking and they gave ne a full refund when I immediately contacted them. Very, very kind.

The place REEKED of Lysol. It was awful. It was so intense it caused a burning sensation while breathing and I quickly developed a headache. Opening the windows helped but it was still awful. I don't want to breathe in chemicals! We were also so hot despite opening windows and it being cold outside AND setting the temperature to 66. I had to wipe up some water and found that the floor had not been mopped in a while. The shower was difficult to use and couldn't get a comfortable temperature with, but this didn't bother me much--I expect stuff like that at Airbnbs.

Great location very close to Radford and about 15-20 min to VT. Very comfortable and the hosts were very helpful in addressing a booking issue. Would absolutely stay here again!

It was roomy and clean. It was a good accommodation for our purpose.

Outlets in the master bathroom. They were difficulty to access without moving pieces of furniture. It was a minor problem.

Absolutely loved the property, clean, quiet the beds were so very comfortable & the hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Very cozy there and we seen a ton of deer while on the back patio. Will definitely stay again if we are in the area again!

I set this stay up for a couple family members that were traveling to the area to tour RU and VT. Upon arrival, the indoor home temperature was set at 55 degrees and the home freezing…They all had to wear winter jackets inside it was so cold. Six hours later the home was only at 65 degrees…Obviously some issue with their heating system. I reached out to the homeowner at 8pm about the issue and got no response at all. No effort at resolution was made. It was when I notified Booking.com about the poor service received that I finally receive a message from the homeowner saying “they missed my message”. Be warned.
