Lovely views , lounge area very comfortable super decking . Loved the location .

Arrival instructions very late on day and mixed messages from booking dot com was a bit stressful . Twin room plastic sheets on beds worn and ripped . Basically clean, but needed a deep clean, but no cleaning products available in accommodation .

Loved the location and the view, nice modern caravan lovely site. Nice to have the use of the kayak Could do with more information about paying for entertainment passes on site to access facilities (club house and pool)

Bedding in double room was smelly. Had to strip bed and find different bedding pillows and duvet, even mattress protection covered in strains brought some febreze for the mattress. Was going to use Sofa bed but was broken, informed host who replied i will personally check bedding after your check out. Understand it's pet friendly, but the cream cushions on sofa were covered in dog hair.

Exceptional caravan and beautiful view

The accommodation was comfortable and perfectly situated to appreciate the beautiful views. Beds were comfy and lovely bedding. Well equipped with kitchen wear. Shower was powerful with spare towels. Such a quiet peaceful park. Comfy sofa and good tv. Parking on the doorstep. Very friendly staff everywhere.

We booked this as a dog friendly holiday but dogs were not allowed on the beach which was the reason we booked this holiday. We won't be returning because of this. Surely if they can make a dog friendly section in the restaurant they can do that on the beach too. It would have been a nice touch to have more than a tiny bit of toilet roll and 1cm of washing up liquid when we arrived after a 9 hour drive from Newcastle. The bedrooms and bathroom doors all open our into the same area so that you have to shout to each other to find out if its OK to open the door. I think sliding doors might be better if the fit or curtains perhaps for the bedrooms? There was an umbrella to add to the table outside to shade from the sun but only half of it was there and without shade we couldn't sit out on the balcony. On the site we found it very pricey e.g. a Brown Ale was £6.40. We would have spent more money if prices were a bit more reasonable.

The location of the park was good (although the property itself is way up a steep hill away from facilities) and the park staff were friendly and helpful.

The property wasn’t very clean with lots of dirty crockery and utensils needing re-washing. There were 3 million mugs/glasses, meaning no room to keep food. But the icing on the cake was the fridge being broken and unusable for the entirety of our stay, and the owner refusing to do anything about it, expecting me to stay in for engineer appointments, me to drive to the nearest big supermarket (almost 1hr round trip) to try to get a cool box, me to provide the ice so that my 8yr old and I could live out of a cool bag for 5 days. For all this, in compensation I was offered…£20. For shame. Owning a holiday home you rent out occasionally means doing something other than enjoying the income, a concept that seems to elude these owners. And as for online customer service - forget it. Lies, obfuscation, time wasting and ultimately disinterest. The whole thing upset me so much it’s taken until now to be able to write something that is publishable. I didn’t take the £20.
