Booking.com website leads you to believe that you will be the only tent / people in the field. There are two other groups of tents. There is only a cool box not a fridge as stated on the website. The website state no parties or groups, we had a group of ladies celebrating using foul language gone midnight keeping the our young kids awake. One tent was clean , the other needed a deep clean. Mattress protector seemed glued to mattress suggesting it hadn't been changed for a while. Our tent which was close to a tree looked (or had) mould looking stains around the head of the bed and the ceiling when you looked up.

It’s a bit strange using a sawdust toilet, but we got used to it pretty quickly!

I thought the preheat of the hot tub for £25 was a good idea as it was all ready to use when we arrived. The beds were very comfortable and clean. Kitchen had everything we needed. Shower was amazing but quite dark as lights weren't working very well. I like the honesty shop where you can purchase almost anything.

The fairy lights in our big tent were not working at all. The windows were very dirty and couldn't see outside for stargazing. A lot of sting nettles about which the children kept falling into. The children's tent with dress up clothes could do with being washed as they were very dirty. They need to invest in good quality lantern's as the power does not last very long when using.

Excellent facilities. Friendly owner Lots of attention to detail.

Best enjoyed on a dry day.
